Invisible Girl

Invisible Girl, Susan Storm Richards, is a main character connected at the center of the Fantastic Four family: older sister to Johnny Storm, wife of Reed Richards, and mother of Franklin and Valeria Richards. She behaves as the one who protects space, notices who is exposed, and makes room for others to act without turning every necessary decision into a speech.
You notice the person half-hidden by the larger emergency. While louder heroes pull the eye, you count children, sightlines, exits, and the small failures that turn a rescue cruel. You would rather put a family behind cover than win an argument about whose idea sounds grandest. Your influence often works by making other people safer than they realized they needed to be. Invisible Girl fits because your power in a crisis is placement: who stands where, who is shielded, and which danger can be denied an opening. The warning is that discretion can become disappearance. You may keep absorbing pressure because naming your own need feels like an indulgence, then resent everyone for not noticing the cost. Protection is not the same as silence, and peacekeeping can hide a very sharp form of control.
