What we publish

Quizzes about fictional characters and the works they come from. Nothing else: no news, no reviews, no opinion pieces, no sponsored content.

How a quiz is made

We choose a work by looking at public interest in it — how many people are reading about it right now — and at whether it has enough of a cast to make a quiz worth taking.

The facts come from the open sources listed on our Copyright page. The writing is drafted with a language model and finished by an editor; the details are on our AI Content Policy page.

What has to be true before a quiz is published

The system refuses to publish a quiz until all of the following exist. This is enforced in software, not remembered by a person:

• a title and a page address;
• a section and a franchise the quiz belongs to;
• at least one question and at least two results;
• a configuration that passes validation — every result reachable, no

question that cannot be answered;

• result texts of at least a minimum length, and for each result an

explanation of who that character is;

• a summary and a paragraph about the work;
• title and description for search engines;
• images that are present and fully licensed.

A quiz missing any of these cannot be published. The editor sees which item is missing, not a general refusal.

Results are entertainment

Quiz results are written to be enjoyable, not accurate. They are not a personality assessment and not advice of any kind. This is stated in our Terms of Use and we repeat it here because it is the single most important thing to understand about this site.

Corrections

We would rather be told than be wrong quietly.

If a name is misspelled, a character is attributed to the wrong work, or a fact is simply incorrect, write to us on the Contact page. Corrections do not need to be formal and do not need a reason.

When we correct a published page, the change is recorded and the page shows the date it was last updated.

Independence

Nothing on this site is paid for by anyone. We are not affiliated with any of the studios, publishers or rights holders whose works the quizzes are about, and no one pays for a work to be covered or covered favourably.

There is no advertising on the site at present. If it is introduced, it will be labelled, and it will not decide what we write about.
