What to write about

• A mistake in a quiz — a misspelled name, a character attributed to

the wrong work, a fact that is simply wrong. Corrections are the fastest thing we do, and they do not need a reason.

• Something on the site is hard to use. Describe what you were trying

to do and what happened; we treat these as defects, not suggestions.

• A rights question. If it is a formal copyright complaint, our

Copyright page lists what a notice must contain — sending it in that form saves a round trip.

• Anything else. There is no wrong reason to write.

What happens to what you send

Your name, email address and message are stored so that we can read them and answer. They are not used for anything else: no mailing list, no sharing with anyone, no newsletter to be subscribed to.

They are kept for three years and then deleted automatically. If you want your message deleted sooner, say so and we will remove it — we can find it by your email address.

How long we take

We aim to answer within 5 business days. A message with an obvious correction may be acted on before it is answered.
