Hawkgirl
Hawkgirl is Shiera Sanders, the reincarnation of Chay-Ara of ancient Egypt. She is Carter Hall’s wife and the mother of Hector Hall, placing her inside a line where family, identity, and repeated lives are not abstractions. Her behaviour carries memory through action: she responds to danger with loyalty, old recognition, and a refusal to let the past be treated as dead.
You answer the call that sounds older than the room you are standing in. At the museum, in a tomb, or above Midway’s streets, you notice who is being pulled into a cycle and move to break the immediate harm. You are not content to solve the artifact; you want the living person freed from what the artifact has awakened. Shiera Sanders matches because Hawkgirl links reincarnation to marriage, family, and the stubborn return of unfinished violence. The warning is that loyalty to an old bond can narrow the present. You may defend a pattern simply because it has survived, or keep entering the same painful fight under a nobler name. The dead are not the only people owed attention.
