Mister E.

Mister E. is Nathan Ellery, a middle-aged man who heads the criminal organization called the Conclave. His place in Swamp Thing is not that of a wandering threat but of command: messages, enforcers, secrecy, and pressure arranged into a hierarchy. He behaves by making other people carry risk while he studies which route gives him the most control.

You look for the chain behind the hand. A courier, an enforcer, a sealed order, a frightened witness: you treat each as a route back to whoever benefits. You prefer moving quietly, keeping copies, and letting other people reveal their loyalties before they know you asked. When danger gathers, you rearrange it so someone else reaches the trap first. Mister E. fits because your choices favour leverage, concealment, and command. You understand that an organization can be more frightening than a single monster, especially when no one sees where the instructions began. The warning is that this talent corrodes trust. If you measure every relationship by its usefulness, you may get obedience instead of loyalty, information instead of friendship, and a room full of people waiting for the safest moment to betray you.
