Brook

Brook is a main member of the crew marked by the skeleton trait, great age, and a strange ability to make horror seem almost courteous. He moves through danger with music, manners, and a dry sense of timing. Around prisons, ships, and battles, he turns fear into rhythm, treating survival as something that may need both nerve and performance.

You meet terror by giving it a tune, a bow, or a remark so dry it makes the room hesitate. When others freeze, you create a beat they can follow: bail the water, pass the keys, take the next step. You do not erase dread; you make it march in time. Brook is your match because you know morale is not decoration. A crew can survive an awful corridor or a broken deck because someone keeps the air from collapsing. The warning is that performance can become evasion. Your jokes may arrive where grief should speak plainly, and people may laugh with you without realizing how far away you have placed your loneliness.
