Which Hellblazer Character Are You?

He behaves like someone who treats supernatural danger as a puzzle, a debt, and a possible swindle all at once. You treat danger as a negotiation with poor lighting. When a spirit, creditor, or furious acquaintance corners the room, you look for the sentence that changes the price. You will cheat a trap if cheating works faster than prayer, and you would rather carry the blame yourself than let a worse fool hold the matches. John Constantine is your result because the reference gives him as an occult investigator, powerful magician, and cunning con artist from Liverpool: useful talents in a world where Hell has rules only when it is amusing. The warning is simple. Your clever exits can make other people stand in the blast radius, and eventually even your best excuses begin to sound like debts.

You answer crisis by staying with what is alive in front of you. If a name, body, or history breaks open, you do not rush to make the old story win; you ask what needs shelter now. You move slowly, but your slowness is the kind that notices roots, rot, and the damage everyone else steps over. This is Swamp Thing because his central burden is the terrible discovery that identity may be plant matter carrying Alec Holland's consciousness rather than Alec returned intact. Your strength is accepting uncomfortable facts without discarding the living result. The downside is that you can become so patient with change that you let decisive moments pass, mistaking endurance for an answer when action is overdue.

You do not push first; you wait until the room reveals the question it has been avoiding. In arguments, you listen for symbols, omissions, and the promise someone is trying not to make. You prefer a clean answer to a noisy victory, and you know silence can be more binding than a shouted threat. Your match with Dream comes from Morpheus being one of the Endless, a figure whose names already carry sleep, story, and consequence without needing a street-corner explanation. You are drawn to meaning that survives the immediate mess. The risk is distance. People may need a hand on the door or a cab fare now, while you are still considering the shape of the dream. Your patience can look like absence to the person bleeding.

You prepare the sentence before you step into the room. When magic must be done under pressure, you rehearse, set the boundary, and make the dangerous part sound deliberate. You believe craft matters: the right words, in the right order, can keep panic from turning a ritual into a public accident. Zatara is the right mirror for you because his stage practice and true magic are not separate costumes; backwards incantation is both method and performance. You trust discipline when the air gets strange. The warning is rigidity. If you cannot act until the phrase is perfect, a cruder operator may save the moment while you are still polishing the mirror and resenting the fingerprints.

You look where polite people have decided not to look. In London’s dirt, in an old woman’s warning, in the thing left wrapped beside the river, you assume there may be an omen with teeth. You barter with unpleasant knowledge and do not pretend that cleanliness makes a spell more honest. Mad Hettie is your result because the supplied portrait is all age, marginal survival, haruspex, and witchcraft. You understand survival as practice, not presentation, and you know useful truth may arrive in a form nobody wants to touch. The danger is isolation. When every kindness looks like bait and every sign must be cut open, you can become difficult to help before anyone has betrayed you.

You keep the engine running. When everyone else is arguing with a spirit, a dream, or a bill from Papa Midnite, you count heads and work out who needs to be moved before the street fills up. You may not own the grandest spell, but you know where the exits are and who has been left behind. Chas Chandler suits this pattern because he is John Constantine's friend and a London taxi driver, close enough to the occult trouble to be endangered by it and practical enough to make movement matter. The warning is that loyalty can become unpaid labor. If you always wait at the curb, other people may start treating your life as part of their emergency kit. You need a destination of your own.

He behaves like someone for whom power has a ritual shape, a price, and a memory longer than most rivals. You ask what the favor costs before you touch it. In a room of frightened clients and hungry forces, you keep your voice level, put the bargain into shape, and refuse to confuse mystery with generosity. You can work with power, but you prefer it counted, named, and attached to terms. Papa Midnite answers this result because he brings vodun practice and business to the same table, with a life stretching back to the American Revolution. You do not need power to look friendly before you take it seriously. The downside is suspicion hardening into appetite. If every bond becomes a transaction, people may pay you and still never trust you, which is a lonely kind of profit.

You move toward the lack in the room. When others discuss guilt, lineage, or proper ritual, you notice what is being consumed: attention, food, courage, time. You follow that emptiness until it names itself, then you test the locks around it. You are not easily distracted by speeches, because hunger has a grammar of its own and you have learned to read the bites. Mnemoth is the bleak version of your pattern: a hunger spirit from an unknown plane of Hell, able to pattern itself after insects as a locust swarm or an oversized insectoid monster. Your result is about appetite as instinct and detection, not politeness. The warning is severe. If need becomes your only compass, you may devour chances for mercy, rest, and ordinary human proportion before you notice they were food too.
