Jirou Azuma

Jirou Azuma is one of BLACK TORCH’s main characters and the catalogue’s male protagonist. With no verified biography supplied, he is best read here through position: the person danger keeps finding first. In an urban-fantasy cast shaped by ninja work, youkai threats, police heat, and uneasy animal omens, Jirou’s slot points toward direct engagement rather than elegant distance.

You move as if delay is already a decision. When a rooftop pursuit drops toward a crowded street, you go where a mistake would hurt someone else and put your body between the problem and the bystanders. You ask for enough information to avoid stupidity, but not so much that the moment dies in committee. If a teammate freezes, you give them one clear task and take the uglier one yourself. That is why Jirou Azuma fits: your instincts belong near the front of the collision, where intention becomes action. The cost is that you can turn responsibility into a reflex instead of a choice. Enemies can steer you by placing someone vulnerable in view, and allies may stop developing their own nerve because you keep arriving before they have to.
