Casca

Casca is a main female character in Berserk, placed at the centre of a harsh adult cast rather than outside its violence. She operates through duty, command and guarded loyalty, keeping order where pride and danger could pull people apart. Her presence brings the quiz toward responsibility: not the idea of courage, but the daily labour of making frightened people move.

You step into the middle before the quarrel becomes damage. You check supplies, correct sloppy work, put the frightened person beside someone steady and make yourself useful where the risk is real. Praise does not interest you nearly as much as competence. If you love people, you show it by holding the line they keep drifting away from. Casca fits because your loyalty has structure: it arrives with standards, guard duty and a refusal to let panic run the room. The warning is that duty can become a locked room of its own. You may mistake needing comfort for weakness, carry other people’s chaos until it turns to resentment, and answer every wound by making yourself more useful instead of more honest.
